Will my electrical panel support an EV charger?

Most homes with 200-amp service can support an EV charger. Homes with 100-amp or older panels typically need an upgrade to 200-amp service. We assess your panel capacity during the free site visit and let you know if an upgrade is needed.

Can I install a charger in my garage?

Hardwired: Directly connected to your electrical system (no plug). Faster charging (up to 48 amps), cleaner look, required for Tesla Wall Connector. Plug-in (NEMA 14-50): Plugs into outlet like dryer. Portable, lower cost, but slower charging (32 amps max). We recommend hardwired for permanent installations.

Do I need a permit for EV charger installation?

What’s the warranty on your installation work?

We provide a 1-year workmanship warranty on all electrical installations. The EV charger itself carries a manufacturer warranty (typically 3-4 years). We’ll help you with any warranty claims if needed.
